'That's Hot.'

I noticed something very sad. We don't have any upcoming shows. That needs to change! Grassroots and Muse Fest are the only two gigs coming up and those are months in advance! Our last show at Castaways was a heavy hitter and it felt really good! I suppose we got out all the musical energy out before our dry patch. Granted not too many people where there, but it was full of good vibes. I wish each and every one of you could have came! But it was a Thursday night, and shows like that are difficult to attend. We understand!

But what is very happy are the people who support us! There is this super sweet girl named Thera from VA, who sent us a package of love! She sent cards, pictures, and Interpol swag. (She's a good friend, if she knows I have a healthy obsession with Interpol!) What a nice thing to do. It definitely put a smile on my face.

I'm in a super mellow mood right now, so, in such cases, I tend to listen to:
-Mogwai: Stanley Kubrick (Such a deep song...holy God. So freaking good.)
-Mogwai: 2 rights make 1 wrong
-Mogwai: Take me somewhere nice
-Radiohead: Talk Show Host (The theme song to 'Romeo and Juliet'...And a big hug and kiss to Steve! He bought me the movie after I refused to return it to Hollywood Video, which reminds me I owe them $23.50 in overdue charges.)
-Phantom Planet: Anthem
-Jimmy Eat World: 23 (I typically don't listen to Jimmy Eat World, but this is an exception.)
-VHS or Beta: Forever (Just got 'Night on Fire' and love it. Go purchase it.)
-Arcade Fire: Rebellion Lies
-Melee: The War (Maia and I met the drummer at Warped Tour, and could not stop listening to this song.)
-Doves: One Of These Days
-Elliott Smith: A Fond Farewell
-Gary Jules: Mad World
-Keane: She Has No Time
-Sunny Day Real Estate- Theo B

Okay, I'm out!
