"#1 International bestseller!" "A lavish meditation on predestination, faith and the unrealized forces that shape one's day!" "Riviting!"
It is confirmed. The rumors and relentless waiting has finally come to an end. Kievan Rus has a live album that is up for SALE! (Please, only five per person...please, I mean, really. Only five.)
Sorry we haven't updated this site for sometime. We've been busy with practice, writing music, making CD's etc…it takes quite a bit of endurance to inject love into each individual compact disc. But hell, it's completely DIY and you should support that. All the materials came straight from our pockets and into your hearts. So please, get yourself a CD, and be happy.
And I shant forget the shirts! We have new band shirts! They are equally lavish, and shouldn't be passed up! We'll post an illustration as soon as we find one. But it's a classic black/white ringer with a red outline of a building. It’s almost more voguish than Kabbalah. It's been the spectacle of many runways across the nation. Many A-list celebrities have been spotted wearing them. Celebrities like Neve Campbell, Dan Rather, Danny Bonaduce, and Emilio Estevez! Don't let this rare offer pass you by!
In the meantime, you should give a listen to a few of these songs:
The Stills- Retour A Vega
Mobius Band- City vs. Country
Mobius Band- Multiply
The Cure- A Letter to Elise
Deerhoof- Milkman
Dntel- Dumb Luck
Fischerspooner- Never Win
Gwen Stefani- Hollar Back Girl (Just to get the blood flowing)
The Jealous Sound- Hope for us
Lightening Bold- 13 Monsters
Louis XIV- Illegal Tender
The Ponys- She’s Broken
Yo La Tengo- Tom Courtney (Acoustic Version)
(I was lying about the whole ‘only five per person’ bit. I was trying to create a pseudo-event that would generate great hype to propagate album sales. But because I feel so utterly terrible about lying, I think it should be known that there is no limit. You can buy as many as you heart desires.)

Taylor!
I saw your show at musefest and immediately became a fan. The CD I bought afterwards is very impressive as well. I really look forward to seeing you ladies perform again.
Also, you have amazing taste in music! Looking at your webpage just made me so happy and I had to tell you. Indie rockers are hard to come by in my small town of Spencer. My friends didn't believe me when I listened to Antics for days on end and claimed that it was one of the best cds of 2004. The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Pavement, Le Tigre, The Cure, all amazing!
You must listen to Sleater-Kinney, right? That's the band that I immediately thought of when I heard you perform. If you don't listen to them, check em' out. I promise you it's fantastic stuff.
Anyway, keep making and listening to good music. I hope to see Kievan-Rus perform again soon!
