All West coast dogs are blue and yellow.

Well, its been awhile since I last wrote something, and I thought an update would be just dandy.

I can bet most of you have been wondering 'Where in God's name did Kievan Rus go? It seems like they've disappeared off the face of the planet! Or perhaps even worse.' (Can there be any worse?) Well clear up those tears sweet child, we haven't left you at all. It's just that Kievan Rus is spread out across the country far and wide. Actually, no, that's incorrect. It's just me.

Being the dork that I am, I decided to go to even more school over the summer. Right now, at this very moment, as I write, I am in Berkeley California sipping an overly frothed, tall, soy (Canada Soy that is) Tazo Chai tea latte. (Yeah, it's a wonder how they didn't mess up my order.) But, I am studying at UC- Berkeley, alive and well! I'm taking two classes, which are Journalism and Business. They aren't too bad, asides from the junk load of work I have to do. I'm stuffing two courses in one month. It's pretty extensive. The days are long, and every minute is jam packed with studying or waiting for the subway. When I sent in my application, I was sending in dreams of sandy beaches, warm air, and bands coming out of all crevices. Instead, I found myself in my dorm, with frigid fog rolling in, and no bands in sight. But, I won't complain because it's actually really nice. I strongly advise everyone to come to Berkeley!

And I also strongly advise you to go see 'Happy Endings,' starring Maggie Gyllenhaal, Tom Arnold, Lisa Kudrow, Jason Ritter and I forget the rest. (Not that they weren’t memorable, it's just that I suffer from the debilitating short term memory loss.) But go see it! It's probably one of my favorite movies of the summer. Go!

I also advise you to go pick up Yo La Tengo's box set 'Prisoners of Love.' I picked it up last week, and fell in love. If you are an YLT fan, and think you know everything there is to know about YLT, you're way wrong. Once you snatch it up, you'll be bombarded with not only 2 Cd's with some of their classics, but an additional 3rd filled with 16 rare tracks. Rare tracks! Good golly miss Molly! Hurray for Yo La Tengo!

Well, I have to end this note saying that I miss everyone back home! I miss my family, friends, and my sweetie. But the one thing that I miss completely is Maia and Ryan! I miss Maia's ever changing beautiful hair, and Ryan's also every changing awesome hair. I miss them, everyone, and especially you, the person reading this piece of sappy crap. Anyhow, I'm coming home on July 30th, in time for the Warped Tour! As soon as we get together, expect non-stop shows from this group! Non-stop shows and non-stop rock!

With an immeasurable amount of love,
T
