give 'em the boot

...ok, so I know that was really unband related and silly, but we all need some unband related silliness in our lives, don't you think? In band related, unsilly news: we just finished recording our 4 track EP at Pyramid Sound. Greg produced it, Alex engineered it, and Mike drummed for us because Ryan sprained his ankle the day before. It was a shitload of fun and good cheer and the songs sound great. The tracks recorded were: Wasted Air, Good Intentions, Not Okay, and Classified. Very sharp stuff. If we're allowed, I'll post some of them on the site. You'll see! And besides being sick and having had to drop out of the show in Binghamton today, we have a lot of great shows coming up in the next couple months. Check us out.

the name's bond, james bond

So it's been a while, I know, my most profuse apologies. If you've read Taylor's blog you know that Ryan kicks major ass and that's the end of it. He rocks. No question at all. Hmm...Ah yes, also note: this weekend we're going into Pyramid studio to do a quick polished demo produced by Greg Graffin. Should be a blast. And a half pint. Seriously. And really we've about A MILLION shows coming up and it's really exciting. I love playing. Shite!
Went to see Sin City which - suprise suprise!- was the best thing in the world. So much awesome Frank Miller and groovy cast. In other awesome-osity news: going to see Flogging Molly in Rochester, April 13th. Fuck yeah dude, fuck yeah. (In preparation I've been listening to a shit load of Within a Mile of Home which turns out to be a pretty substantially rocking album once you get cozy with it.)
But really, we're currently finding a new band name because Kievanrus was a cop out. That and I've been hearing so much about equipment and set ups and show dates that I'm chomping at the bit to strap on my bass. oooooh...fiesty!
