I want to conquer the world

Huh. Well. What can be said, really? The tour. It was awesome. I just don't know how to describe I guess. It was splendid. Fantastic. Amazing. Mind-blowing. Unforgettable. The people, they were just real and the music was just real and it was really beautiful. I met people I hope to surround myself with for the rest of my life. Sweethearts. Genuine people. Drew and Alex from the merch tables, Justin and Pat from Anti-Flag, Eugene and Sergei from Gogol Bordello, Greg and the boys from Bad Religion, Sue from Epitaph, the sweet security guards, the patient sound guys, the kids in the circle pit, the ones who came up to us later, bought our stuff, congratulated us, supported us. It was wild. Really. And those are just the people we met that were cool, not to mention of course the parents that got us everywhere, Steve, Ted, Mike who always knew what to do and where to be. I can't really figure out how we ever got there. How I'm at home now in the snow. How it ever happened. But there's picture proof that we did in fact tour for 3 days with Bad Religion and that that we looked damn good. Haha. Shit.
Yeah, life is too fucking awesome, in fact. It makes sense. It smells good. It feels good. It was a burning throat, smiles tossed around, boots stomping, beaming with your whole body, turning down offers, feeling like the world may just be an okay place. People are good and I've come to terms with it. What can you do? It's thanksgiving and I've never felt more thankful in my life. Thank you everyone and everything for doing what you do and being who you are. It's too much. There's even snow outside, for fuck's sake! I guess it's taken me until now to really enjoy it all and yeah it's all about pilgrims and much-too-gracious Native Americans who should have just let the ungrateful assholes starve, but it's just great. Tour, I mean, not the travesty of colonization.
I know I'm the only one who ever updates her blog, but that's okay and you know what? I'm going to do it again when I look through the hundreds of pictures that were taken. HA! So, don't touch that dial because we'll be right back with new pictures of Kievan Rus on tour with Bad Religion. You heard it here first.

Hey There,
I had an awsome time playing with you guys. We should do it again sometime...soon...like tomorrow...I'm serious. I too thank everyone that mia just listed, but I would like to restate the part about all the people who came out and listened, and clapped, and screamed, and danced, and cared, and made our time on stage mean something. THANK YOU!!! For Real. I hope the girls are in a town near you very soon, and with any luck, they'll let me tag along again.

Maia you rocked hard and look and sounded beautiful!I was proud to see you and hear you out there on stage at the house of blues: the sound, the lights, the kids dancing, Taylor and Mike rocking, it all came together and I will never forget that day!
Thanks for taking us along on this awesome tour with Bad Religion and
thanks to Greg for making it all happen!
