cause for alarm
Shit Shit SHIT! I've been delinquent in posting and noticed Taylor did so now I have to (though I'm highly skeptical in the belief that anyone reads these). At any rate, the summer has been uneventful and hot and I've been lounging in complete sloth and content doing absolutely fuck all. It's kind of fascinating really. I can't say that I leave my house very often. But my imobile lifestyle isn't the point, I daresay, and what really comes to mind is that fact that Ryan and I aren't going to Warped in Buffalo (it just wouldn't be right without Taylor) and I think people are under the impression that we ARE going. Not to entertain the thought that people are dying to see us or anything, but I feel right rotten that I've decieved those who were looking to fix themselves up with some rock, 2 pairs of tits and a great drummer on a scorching Buffalonian afternoon. [my apologies for my strange sense of cynicism in this post. it must be my show-withdrawl. COME SEE US AT THE HAUNT JULY 28TH 9 PM-- hey! where did that come from?] At any rate, I apologize for the mix up, that's my fault.
Being that responsible-Taylor and really-smart-Ryan are both out of town, I've been left to my own devices and turns out I'm bad at managing a band. I'd meant to get our Live at the Chapter House recording professionally pressed, T-shirts made, and stickers sticked so that we could have something to show for ourselves in Scranton at Warped. Being that I'm a slag, none of this has been done. If anyone wants to come over to my house sometime and start making some cds with me, it'd be a blast, we could have a party...assembly line style, comrade. If not, it'll be me in a throwback to my sweat shop days.
Check out a really cool thing I picked up this summer! It's cooler than most things and cooler than you, I presume. It's called Capoeira. You wont know what hit you. Literally.
I'm graduated and have no direction so, Taylor and Ryan willing, we'll play like mad bastards this year. Maybe record an album. Maybe go on tour. Maybe visit the moon. Maybe make sandwiches. Not entirely sure, but I want to do something. Don't we all?
